Cultural Events, Groups & Locations
Lismore Heritage Centre: Major exhibition on the town and its history on view. Story of Lismore in exhibition and audio-visual presentation. Story told covering 636AD to the present day. Books on local folklore are on sale in the craft shop.
Immrama Festival Of Travel Writing: Held in Lismore over a weekend in June each year. Past guest speakers at the festival have included Robert Fisk, Michael Palin and Jung Chang.
Classical Concerts: held in Lismore Cathedral and Lismore Castle each year. Check with Tourist Information Office for more details.
Lismore Music Festival The inaugural annual festival featuring Carmen was held on the June Bank Holiday weekend 2010.
Courthouse Theatre: Two annual amateur productions in October and March.
Library Headquarters: for County Waterford is located in Lismore Town.
